Our A level results were very pleasing this summer with an increase in the pass rate of 5% from 92% to a record 97%.

We also saw an increase in the proportion of higher grades to 61%.

15 subjects out of 21 had 100% pass rates at A level.

Taster day April 2009

On Wednesday 22nd April I went to a Queen Mary taster course. As soon as I walked in I felt like home! The campus is huge and the people are friendly! I chose to go on a history day as Queen Mary is renowned for its history and medicine courses.

I haven’t been to many universities which is why these taster courses are fantastic. I would recommend these to anyone who thinks they want to go to university and get a feel of the real university life! Just from being on campus for one day was enough for me to decide Queen Mary is where I want to go!
