AS Unit G041: How organisations use ICT

This unit is externally assessed

33% of the total AS GCE 1 hr 30 minutes written paper including a Pre-Prepared Task -  100 marks

 

AS Unit G042: ICT solutions for individuals and society

Advanced GCE in Applied ICT (H515)

A2 Unit G048: Working to a brief

16.67% of the total Advanced GCE Specimen research and development task

Homework

This involves completing, planning, research and developing of the various tasks for each unit of coursework.

Equipment required

Students must have a memory stick which should be used ONLY to backup their work Or if they need to work at home. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is that the original copies of their work MUST be saved on the school network!!

Supporting your child’s progress

Ensuring that they are working at home and meeting ALL deadlines set by the school. Make that they complete homework given on time. Check their journals regularly. Use the websites to support their learning. If they need further help ask them to attend the homework clubs.
