Admissions Procedure
Applying for a place for your child at The Holy Family Technology
College
Applications for admission to Year 7:
Come and see the school, with your son or daughter. For most families, this
will be at our Open Evening.
Borough Application Forms for admission to The Holy Family Technology College must be returned to the LEA Pupil Admission Service.
Complete and return the Holy Family Technology College Student Data Form to the College Office, by the strict deadlines indicated in the Admissions Policy.
Application for admission to Years 8 - 11:
These are welcomed, as vacancies arise. In this case, please make an appointment
to visit the College and meet with the relevant Deputy Head/Assistant Head.
A copy of the full Admissions Policy can be sought from the College Office.
Primary Liaison
The Induction Programme for primary school pupils begins in Year 5 with 1/2
day visits by pupils from all the main feeder primary schools, who have the
opportunity to take part in a range of activities offered by a large number
of departments.
The process continues with Information Evenings early in the September of
Year 6, followed by the Open Evening in October. The Head of Year 7 visits
the
main feeder primary schools early in the Autumn and Spring terms. In mid July,
Year 6 pupils are again invited into school but this time for a whole day
and
later, two evening meetings complete the Induction programme.
