HCPT Pilgrimage 2009

The month of May is dedicated to Our Lady. During this month we would like to encourage all the Families of our school community to pray the Rosary and consider the special place Mary has in our lives and the church.

Eve Stanger in 10.4 was one of our pupils who went on the HCPT Pilgrimage to Lourdes this Easter, a shrine dedicated to Our Lady – These are her thoughts:

Lourdes 2009 was an amazing experience, with so many new opportunities and awesome people. Each day was packed with all sorts of activities and even Sunshine! I had a fantastic time, thanks to all of 161, and everybody who made the trip possible; I was given opportunities I never thought I’d get.

A highlight for me was, once again, the torchlight procession because it never fails to amaze me, This year we also did a mass for our region, which was very special for creating memories for our whole region. I miss 161 so much already, I miss the limits (not targets) and the barking horses, but I still have all the memories and the family. Whether I go to Lourdes again or not, I am going to have to start fundraising as soon as possible so 161 can have another fantastic time
