About Us

Here at Holy Family we aim to provide a relevant and stimulating curriculum for our students, which will ensure they access the career of their choice via Higher Education, Further Education, Apprenticeships or directly into employment.

We offer a wide range of A Level subjects, as well as a range of Level 3 Vocational BTEC subjects. Please see the Sixth Form Course Booklet and Application Form for further details on entry requirements and Pathways. We pride ourselves in offering a strong Pastoral system which offers students a fortnightly progress tutorial with their Personal Tutor to ensure they remain on-track in their subjects and receive one-to-one support for their wider needs.

At the heart of our strong Catholic Ethos lies a commitment to the growth of each individual in the sixth form, which means we place great emphasis on enrichment activities which range beyond academic study. Students are strongly encouraged to take part in a personal based enrichment activity and also a commitment to community work both inside school and in the wider local community.

We also boast a dedicated pathway for high achievers with a strong track record of gaining Russell group university places, a substantial careers advice programme including the opportunity for a professional based work experience placement and numerous other opportunities to develop the self awareness, self confidence and spiritual aspects of our student’s lives.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all about the sixth form.
