Unifrog

All students in Years 7-13 have accounts created to access activities covering the following areas in a progressive manner:

  • Grow throughout life
  • Explore Possibilities
  • Manage Career
  • Create opportunities
  • Balance life and work
  • See the big picture ensuring that most Gatsby Benchmarks are completed and monitored.

These activities are mapped in a termly schedule for each year group shared with the Year Leaders and dedicated Unifrog teachers who oversee the completion of the tasks during careers lessons or  their PSHCE scheme of work.

We develop students’ awareness of the modern Labour Market Information through displays of posters around classrooms and careers boards and at break and lunchtimes on the canteen display big screens.

In addition, each Year Group has the opportunity to take part in careers related enrichment activities on the drop down days as part of the PSHCE programme.

Students have the opportunity to discover themselves by completing a short interests-based questionnaire using the online Careers platform Unifrog. This...

  • Helps meet our duty to provide impartial career guidance
  • Helps meet the statutory requirements by meeting all 8 Gatsby benchmarks
  • Raises students’ self-awareness, aspirations and increases motivation
  • Facilitates option choices at 12/13, 16 and 18+

With Unifrog, students can explore their future careers and education options within school or at home with their personal logins. Our programme is designed to enable young people to make excellent choices about their futures and inspire them throughout their time at Holy Family. Each term students will cover a particular theme in the CDI Spiral curriculum (see below) to develop their skills and readiness for the world of work and to understand the Labour Market Information.
