Welcome
TO HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC SCHOOL AND SIXTH FORM
The school’s Catholic ethos underpins all that we do and forms the basis of the Holy Family Way. We are a member of the Aquinas Trust of Catholic Schools in Waltham Forest and work closely with our partner primary schools to provide the best possible Catholic education for all our young people.
We aim to educate the whole person, to develop each student’s academic potential as well as nurturing their creativity, spirituality, character and resilience...

I’ve only been at Holy Family for two weeks, but it already feels amazing. The welcome from both staff and students has been so warm that it feels like being part of a family - well, we are called Holy Family, after all!

So far, I’ve really enjoyed my time at Holy Family. The teachers go above and beyond to help us succeed in our subjects and achieve our goals. We study a wide range of lessons, but my favourite is DT because I get to design and create different projects using all sorts of materials. I also love Science, especially when we use microscopes and Bunsen burners.

When I first joined Holy Family, I didn’t know anyone. I worried that, coming from a school far away and being Muslim, I might be treated differently. Instead, I was welcomed with kindness, respect, and a real sense of love. I discovered a community full of diversity and exciting opportunities - even fun clubs like roller skating! With the support of my family, school, and friends, I’m inspired every day not just to have more, but to be more.

I like Holy Family because of all the extracurricular opportunities, especially the sports clubs. My favourite subject is Science, as we get to do lots of practical lessons and interesting experiments.

My favourite thing about Holy Family is the strong relationships you can build with teachers, leaders, and other students. I feel comfortable talking to them about any problems or support I might need, as we’re a really close community here. Drama is my favourite subject because I enjoy expressing myself, and the school provides great encouragement in this area.

When I first joined Holy Family, it felt like a big step up from primary school. Thanks to dedicated teachers and the welcoming religious atmosphere, I’ve grown into a successful student with a positive approach to learning. I’ve especially enjoyed the STEM subjects - technology in particular - because of the creative freedom they offer.

As Head Boy of Holy Family, I am immensely proud to represent a school so rich in values. Our community is at the heart of everything we do. The staff are always supportive, and students truly embrace the values of friendship. Holy Family really is one big family.

As Head Girl at Holy Family, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to develop as a young leader. I’ve supported younger students with their studies and encouraged them in balancing schoolwork with their personal lives. At Holy Family, we believe that extracurricular activities and time to relax are just as important as academic success. I’ve seen first-hand how dedicated our teachers are in helping students go above and beyond to reach their potential.
