A Level and BTEC Success at Holy Family - Summer 2022
Students gained their final A Level and Level 3 BTEC results this summer, with some fantastic outcomes representing two years of hard work under difficult circumstances. Over 50% of all A Level grades were A*, A or B grades, while 56% of all BTEC grades were either Distinction or Distinction* grades.
These excellent results mean that over 85% of students will be taking up places at university this year, with the remainder gaining places on Apprenticeship or school leaver placements or taking gap years with the aim of starting courses next autumn.
Outgoing Headteacher Dr Stone said: ‘After what has been a very challenging period for schools and for
students we are exceptionally proud of the resilience our students have shown in achieving these excellent results. They overcame many challenges supported ably by their committed teachers. After the struggles of the pandemic, and periods of lockdown, we hope they can now look forwards and enjoy their time at university or starting their careers. Many congratulations to all of them!’
